About Tim Welch
I have been a dedicated husband, father, coach, mentor and educator.
Many of the principles resulting in championships are the same as those that inspire and prepare your child to win at life. Be your child’s head coach.
My four children are kind, honest, industrious and generous people, and while I cannot lay claim to all of their success in life, I am blessed and honored to have helped develop, shape and grow them throughout the years — which I also have spent coaching other people’s kids. For more than three decades, I have helped athletes (sometimes very average ones) become champions on a wrestling mat — and remain champions after they stepped off it.
Whether working with my children or someone else’s, I have found that a lot of the things that have made me a good coach also have made me a good dad. I teach these principles, traits, attitudes, convictions, practices and standards to other fathers, encouraging and equipping them to maximize their coaching role in their family because they are coaching in the most important season of their children’s lives.
Champions are established in deliberate ways and from specific practices. A dad who coaches his children in the Game of Life is trained in how to create a culture for his family; how to be intentional and consistent; how to be prepared and present; and how to step into those moments requiring his wisdom, leadership, love and shepherding.
Coaching 4 Life features a curriculum, personal mentorship and other resources inspired by the word of God. It offers practical strategies and practices that assist a Dad who wants to have more positive influence and impact on his family. Coach4Life shows Dads how to pick up the whistle, set the course and fully embrace the role God has called them to have in their children’s lives. Coach4Life helps fathers know that they are needed, important, essential and have the power to highly influence their children’s future success.
